The Bethel American Legion Post 406 is gearing up for its 32nd Annual Car Show scheduled for July 27th, 2024. This long-standing and widely anticipated event is open to all types of vehicles, namely cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Should inclement weather arise, a rain date has been established for August 3rd, 2024. Vehicle enthusiasts can expect a full day packed with activities. There will be awards up for grabs, door prizes, and the chance to participate in ‘Split the Pot’. To keep the atmosphere vibrant, there will be music entertainment as well as a selection of food and drinks to enjoy. Vehicle registrants, especially the first 150 entries, will receive commemorative dash plaques. The competition segment includes a ‘Top 20’ category for vehicles from 1989 and earlier, a separate ‘Top 20’ for models spanning 1990 to present, and a category for motorcycles. Additionally, there will be ‘Choice Awards’ and a ‘Best of Show’ title. Registration for participants starts at 9 AM continuing until 1 PM, with an entry fee of $20, and the awards presentation will follow at 3 PM. Spectators are welcome to join the festivities free of charge.
