About us and Our Mission Some years ago, back in the 70’s, some guys got a hang up to just hang out and talk cars with their rods. This is way before Mickey D’s was built. They used to walk across East Broad St for Pizza. Well, after time, Mickey D’s opened and more and more cars showed up. Well this event came and went and came back. We take pride in knowing this history from Don Bob! He was one of the original Cruisers from that time. And some are from our very own hot roders. So now we all take much pride in knowing we’re the oldest car cruise in Lorain County! They been flipping burgers and rolling hot dogs for the very hungry Cruisers for the past two years! All Money made from this cruise helps others in need, I guess we should tell you about this as well. You see, Dave will not accept any money for what he does at Big Lots cruise in, he runs a Non Profit DJ service. This is not what others do at their cruises. We’re not bashing other DJ’s They provide wonderful services for a living. We do not! We help others in need like: Lorain County food banks, Flying Horse Farms, Burn units for children, Battered Woman Shelters, Etc. If you want Dance music and Country, you don’t want to come to our events. We provide 50’s and 60’s and old Rockabilly and Surfer toons as well as Hot Rod Music Only! After all, it’s a CAR CRUISE! All the food cooked at this event is what provides the money needed to help all these charities! So really, it’s helping others in Need. 2012 We Donated to Flying Horse Farms and The Not Forgotten Box! Toys for kids who have nothing! And lets not forget to Thank Cruisin Times And Big Al’s List. All these events and shows and tech talk would be unheard of without these guys taking the time to gather all info from us all to make these cruises possible! Great Job Guys and all our Staff! Thank You!!! Great Job Guys and all your Staff! Thank You!!!
