HAMMOND, IN – Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Parks & Recreation invite all hot rod and custom bike enthusiasts to join us at Wolf Lake Memorial Park at 2324 Calumet Ave on Sunday, July 21st from noon until 3 p.m. for the 20th Annual Festival of the Lakes Rod, Custom & Bike Show. Pre-Registration entry is $15 per vehicle; Day of registration is $20 from 9 a.m. – noon.
Time frame/ tentative schedule : 9am-12am Registration and Staging- Coffee & Donuts
12am -3pm Car show mix and mingle- music, judging, award ceremony
There will be a DJ, dash plaques, door prizes, awards, and concessions.
Judging in these categories: STOCK or MODIFIED : Exterior Design, Interior Design, Engine Bay, Suspension
Modern Domestic (Ford, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler (last 20 years))
EURO & JDM (customized city cars, executive, luxury, sport, SUV/MPV)
Hot Rods Vintage ( 1953 and older (Vintage 70+ year old))
Hot Rods Antique ( 1954 to 1973 (Antique 50 to70 year old))
Hot Rods Classic ( 1974 to 2004 (Classic 20-50 year old ))
Low-Riders ( Cal style, Hi-riser, VIP style)
Trucks (lifted, Off-road)
