Inaugural Modern Muscle Madness 24
July 26 @ 3:00 pm EDT
Kuhnle Motorsports Park is hosting the Inaugural Modern Muscle Madness 24 event featuring a variety of drag racing activities designed for modern muscle car enthusiasts. The event will kick off on Friday, July 26th, 2024, when gates open at 3 PM. The action starts at 6 PM with a quarter-mile test and tune session available for a $30 fee. A gambler race is also on the schedule for that evening. The entry fee is $30, with $20 going into the prize pot and $10 to the track. The winner will take home 80% of the pot, while the runner-up will receive 20%. It is important to note that modern engines are not a requirement for participation. In the event of inclement weather, a backup date has been scheduled for Sunday, July 28th. The competition includes box and no box categories as well as a bike class, with payouts contingent on the number of vehicles entered. Continuing into Saturday, July 27th, the park will hold quarter-mile races with different payouts for the box, no box, and bike classes based on the number of entries. Specific classes have been organized for GM, Mopar, and Ford vehicles, each with its own set of powerplant requirements and entry fees. Additionally, a Battle of the Brands Gambler race will be held, open to all brands involved. The gates will open at 11 AM on Saturday, with time runs starting at 2 PM and eliminations at 5 PM. Spectator and crew entry fees are charged per day. However, discounts are available for those purchasing weekend passes, and children under 12 are admitted free of charge. The event does not offer cash refunds, but it does allow for double entries and buybacks if the schedule permits.
