Independence Day Classic Car Show, presented by Yankee Ford

The South Portland Historical Society will host its 16th annual Independence Day Classic Car Show, presented by Yankee Ford, at Bug Light Park on July 4, 2024. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, vintage and classic cars will be displayed on the lawn across from the museum. Vintage car owners are welcome to participate; call 767-7299 for more information. The Nor’Easters Kite Club will feature patriotic-themed kites, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence will occur at noon from the front porch of the museum. The Summer in Maine Auction will be held at the car show, with bidding closing shortly after the reading, around 12:30 PM. Food trucks will provide food, and kites, kite wands for young children, and t-shirts will be available for purchase. Come celebrate Independence Day while enjoying the scenic views of Casco Bay.
