Party at the Museum – Star City Motor Madness

Mark your calendars for a new experience this year at the “Party at the Museum – Star City Motor Madness.” The event is scheduled for Friday, June 28th, 2024, from 5 pm to 10 pm. Hosted by the Virginia Museum of Transportation, attendees are invited to drive their special vehicles to the event where over 150 free parking spaces will be available for classic cars in front of the museum, along Norfolk Avenue, and on museum grounds. Admission is set at $10 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-12. Your ticket not only gets you into the event but also grants full access to the museum which includes the auto gallery and the opportunity to see the famous J-611 steam locomotive. The evening promises to be filled with entertainment as live music will be provided by Hot Rod Walt and the Psycho-DeVilles. For those hungry for more than just good tunes, food trucks such as Dale’s Diner/Kenney Burgers and H’s Barbeque will be on-site to satisfy your appetite.
