The Summer Dayz event, supporting TANL’s programs for kids in foster care across Central Indiana, is set to take place on July 13th from 8AM to 5PM. Hosted by the Anderson New Horizons United Methodist Church, located at 611 E 53rd St, Anderson, Indiana, this benefit show will showcase an array of vintage and modern cars, trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles. Visitors will see competing entries for the ‘Best in Show’ and can engage with hundreds of vendors present on-site. Participants can pre-register for the car show by July 1st, 2024, for a chance to win a $200 drawing. The registration fee is $25, and the first 200 vehicles to register will receive a commemorative dash plaque. A live auction featuring items from various Indiana businesses is scheduled for 1:30PM, and car, bike, and jeep awards will be presented at 3PM. Several categories are open for trophies, including ‘Best in Show’, ‘Top 75’, ‘Best Old School (Carbureted)’, ‘Best New School (ECU/Injection)’, among others for cars, and ‘Best in Show’, ‘Top 3’, ‘People’s Choice’ for bikes, as well as numerous categories for jeeps.
