[Shields and Stripes](https://shieldsandstripes.org/) is a 501c(3) non-profit hosting The Spencer Calzadilla Car Show Health & Wellness EXPO. Spencer was a young Gilbert veteran and car enthusiast who lost his fight to PTS. Spencer took his life in March 2022 after a tragic battle with mental health.

Our goal is to help raise awareness and provide resources to help our nation’s warriors live full and happy lives. By providing local health & wellness services that fight visible and invisible injuries, we might be able to avoid Spencer’s tragic and familiar alarming trend of veteran suicide.
