American Collectors Insurance is proud to be a sponsor of Bloomington Gold Corvettes USA. the largest and longest running Corvette Event that started as a swap meet in Bloomington, IL and rapidly grew into a full out car show! Each year, thousands of Corvette, Camaro, and all around car enthusiasts flock to this event. The event, taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts, is open to the public and uses the stadium exhibit hall, stadium concourse, and outside parking lot. Since the show is held both indoors and outdoors, weather is no issue!

What makes this show unique? Bloomington Gold is recognized world wide for its prestigious judging process of Corvettes, and now Camaros! The Bloomington Gold Certification brings authentication to each car that qualifies. The goal is to be awarded either GOLD Certification, SURVIVOR, or BENCHMARK award. 

GOLD Certification: This award is achieved by Corvettes that have been preserved or restored within 95% of the way it appeared when it left the factory. No better, no worse, no different. The goal for this award is historic perfection over cosmetic perfection.

SURVIVOR: refers to Corvettes or Camaros that are “worn in, but not worn out” and are significantly unrestored, unrepaired, or unmodified and meet specific requirements.

BENCHMARK Award: The most sought-after award. The BENCHMARK Award is America’s most prestigious Corvette Award that focuses on the ultimate standard for unrestored vehicles. To achieve Benchmark status, an unrestored Corvette must attain GOLD Certification and excel in all four categories of SURVIVOR during the same weekend. To date, fewer than 5% of the Corvettes that have been Certified have received the prestigious BENCHMARK award.
