Club Description
The TiftArea Antique Automobile Club was started in 1984 by a group of enthusiasts who wanted to preserve and promote the history of the automobile. This group was small in number, but the common interest was enthusiastic. The Tifton Chapter was extended by the Artesian City Region Antique Automobile Club of Albany, Georgia.
The TiftArea Auto Club sponsors an annual car and truck show each spring to raise funds for local charities. Members are asked to help with this project by volunteering their time and talents during the show. Member vehicles are not in competition, will not be judged, and are not eligible for any awards during the show we host.
As a member of the TiftArea Auto Club you become eligible for discounts from local merchants who are participating during the year. Our club is a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA). As a member of the AACA you may receive reduced rates on your vehicle insurance premiums and you receive the AACA magazine six times per year. Local club members also qualify for discounts during cruise-ins at local restaurants when displaying their vehicles. Our membership is family-oriented; husband, wife, children, grandchildren and friends. Membership vehicle interests range from models from the early 1900’s through the present day including antique, custom, classic and street rod automobiles.
If you are interested in automobiles you have an open invitation to join our group.
