Friday Night Car Show-Presented by the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores
July 26 @ 6:00 pm EDT
Enjoy an evening surrounded by classic and contemporary cars at the Bellmore Friday Night Car Show, hosted at the Bellmore LIRR Parking Lot on Broadway, flanked by Bellmore Ave and Bedford Ave. Spectators are welcome to explore the showcase free of charge, while those displaying their cars are subject to a $5 admission fee. This event is scheduled for Friday nights only, with operating hours from 6-10PM. Vehicle exhibitors and attendees must adhere to municipal regulations and show respect toward railroad commuters. The regulations include parking in marked stalls, no cruising, double parking, reckless driving, and drag racing, among others. Vehicles must be street legal, no sales of merchandise or food from vehicles are allowed, and alcohol is strictly prohibited. Participants are expected to clean up their spaces using available receptacles, and failure to comply with event rules may lead to exclusion from current and future shows. In addition, those displaying vehicles are required to pay the entrance fee upon arrival or when leaving and must present their entrance sticker upon exit to avoid repaying. It is important to respect all traffic laws when leaving the event, particularly avoiding the use of Sunrise Highway as a race track. The Chamber of Commerce, which organises this event, emphasizes that these rules are in place to ensure the safety of everyone involved and to be considerate of the Bellmore community. Non-compliance with the regulations can lead to the discontinuation of the Car Show, as there have been numerous complaints regarding noise, garbage, and traffic violations.
