The Truck Bar Car Show: Hosted by the Cortes Family

The Cortes Family is hosting the Truck Bar Car Show on July 28, 2024, from 11 AM to 3 PM at The Truck Bar, located at 151 Webster Square Rd. Berlin, CT 06037. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to August 4, 2024. Show car entry requires a $5 donation, benefiting Gears in Heaven, a nonprofit organization supporting families of motorsport enthusiasts affected by serious accidents. Spectators can attend for free, and no advance registration is necessary. The event will feature a variety of vehicle displays, including imports, domestics, exotics, antiques, motorcycles, trucks, and possibly the Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile. There will also be trophies and awards, a food truck, a 50/50 raffle, and music from a DJ. Supporting groups for the event include Gears in Heaven, CT Block Bullies, CT Modified, and Fuel to Inspire. The event is family-friendly, with guidelines requesting no music played apart from the DJ, no burnouts, no 2-step, and no excessive revving. Police will be present at the venue and in the surrounding area.
