He or she may request a copy of the police report to obtain information regarding roadway and weather conditions, estimated speed of travel, and sketches of the incident. If a police officer is not present to document details at the time of the accident, you must write down all of this information, plus the driver, vehicle and insurance information of all drivers involved.
