The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA), founded in 1935, is the country’s largest and oldest historical society, with more than 60,000 members worldwide. The AACA holds meets, tours, and other activities nationwide and publishes Antique Automobiles, an outstanding magazine that is mailed bi-monthly to all members. They also have a Library and Research Center and staff to maintain relations with the several hundred regions worldwide. Membership in the national is required to join a region, as national also provides liability insurance for our events.

The Central Connecticut Region (CCR) was chartered in 1975 as a non-profit organization “dedicated to the search, preservation, and restoration of antique automobiles and related memorabilia. Monthly meetings are held year round and feature visits to automobile and related businesses or programs about cars, etc. (see below for a sample of businesses visited). Club functions also include an annual banquet, driving tours, picnic, Saturday garage tours, visits to museums, our annual Antique Car and Truck Show and our annual get-together at Hershey. We also publish a monthly newsletter to keep our members informed and involved with their club.
